Osaka People's Farm is planned to close 31 March 2012!!!Lives of more than 300 innocent animals are at risk. They might be provided for animal experiments and meat industry! The Osaka People's Farm website http://www.osaka-midori.jp/bokujyou/ says, "Goats, Alpacas Ponies, Horses, Sheepdogs and Miniature Pigs are already reserved for transfer, and application for those are now closed. However, there are some sheep left if anyone wants them." Realistically, who can adopt large animals like them in Japan?? It is extremely dubious! The transferees has not been disclosed at all, therefore, there's a huge danger for them to be given to animal experiments and meat industry.
Osaka prefectural government has a duty to disclose the transferees to the public!
The pretext of closing the Osaka People's is Farm ostensibly was consolidation of schools in Nose-town, Osaka. Behind the plan, 4.2 billion yen ($52 million) is expected to be moving for the construction project, (Reference: Incidentally, the construction costs of the 'Minoh Todoromi School' was approximately 2.1 billion yen http://cms-p01.teacher.ne.jp/todoromi/ ($26 million) and 'Minoh Saito Hill Elementary and Junior High school' was about 2.4 billion yen ($30 million) http://www.city.minoh.lg.jp/saitonooka/index.html. How come Nose-town school cost 4.2 billion yen for construction and reclamation ? Isn't it strange?)
It is suspected that it was measures of self-protection and concessions of the town mayor of Nose-town as he has debt problems. Can this be justified as a reason of death of over 300 innocent voiceless Cows, Sheep, Alpacas, Goats, Horses, Ponies?Despite the fact 17,414 signatures of protest was delivered to the former governor, Mr. Toru Hashimoto (He's now the mayor of Osaka-city) on the 20th September 2011, the precious voices of the citizens were ignored by the change of governor. The abolition ordinance was discussed at regular meetings in September, and the draft was passed on 22th October 2011. Overview of the Osaka Strategic Headquarters meeting: http://www.pref.osaka.jp/kikaku/senryaku/230501.html Despite 70% of the Nose-town residents' opposition, they became quiet because of pressure by phone from the town mayor of Nose-town.
◉ Now Please send message to ask for disclosure of transferees of the animals.

Dear Sir,
I am very concerned that Osaka People's Farm is planned to close on 31 March 2012. Lives of more than 300 innocent animals are at risk. There is a great suspicion that the animals will sent to vivisections and abattoirs. It is extremely dubious. The transferees has been disclosed merely for 30 animals and we need to know where the the rest of 270 animals are going.

There's only very short time left for the animals and we, every concerned individuals in the world, insist that you disclose the list of adopters as soon as possible and make sure all the animals who served to your people have safe and happy life for the rest of their time.
Thank you for your attention, and I look forward to hearing from you.
Best regards,
